Department of Veterinary Disease Biology is one of three veterinary departments at the new Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences under the University of Copenhagen.
The department covers a wide spectrum of animal and human disease biology in close collaboration with other departments at the university. The department covers Veterinary Science, Food Engeneering, Biology-biotecnology, Parasitology, Laboratory Animal Science, Food Control and Food Safety.
The department holds the laboratory animal science facility, who cater for other departments, collaborating partners and private companies, as well as offer in-house services.
